Dr. Corban Stettler is a native of Colorado Springs, Colo. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs with a degree in biology and chemistry. After completing his Bachelor’s degree, Dr. Stettler went on to earn a Master’s degree in forensic science.
In 2009, Dr. Stettler completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Southern California (USC) Dental School. There, he served the adults and children of the greater Los Angeles area, and also worked with AYUDA, a non-profit organization that provides free dental work to underserved children. With this group, he volunteered at local clinics and traveled to Belize, Mexico, and Nicaragua to help children who were without the means or resources to get dental work. It was during this time Dr. Stettler, long before he was a pediatric dentist in Colorado Springs CO, realized that making a difference in the current and future health of children was what he most wanted to do with his career.
Upon completion of his doctorate, he served as a captain in the U.S. Air Force, and was stationed at Moody Air Force Base, GA.
After his service in the Air Force, Dr. Corban Stettler decided to focus on pediatrics, or children’s dentistry. He completed a one-year general practice residency at St. Francis Hospital in Peoria, Ill., followed by a two-year pediatric dental residency from the University of Minnesota.
For two years, Dr. Stettler worked in Children’s Amplatz Hospital providing specialized dental care to children of varying backgrounds and health needs. In June 2013 he completed his residency and moved back home to Colorado where he worked for My Kids Dentist and Peak Vista Community Clinic while opening Kids Rock Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Corban Stettler married his wife, Mary, during the first of his many years of schooling and training. Together they have four children: Carson, Emily, Matthew and Samantha.
Dr. Stettler’s goals are to provide quality care in a friendly environment for every child that he sees and to help create a healthier future for children as a pediatric dentist in Colorado Springs, CO.
